New Guide! Educating the Uniquely Wired Child

Educating the Uniquely Wired Child is written by two parents, former colleagues, and experienced educators who have a special place in their hearts for the children who struggle academically or are misunderstood.

Our workbook provides a strength-based framework built to help families move from struggle and uncertainty to clarity.

Each section is grounded in respectful, practical approaches (no behavior charts, no rigid rules, and no punishment-centric strategies). Instead, you’ll find tools that promote collaboration, self-advocacy, and shared understanding.

What’s inside?

This workbook guides you through:

  • -Understanding your child’s unique wiring (not judging it)
  • -What “educating” means to you
  • -Mindset shifts and family dynamics
  • -Communication that encourages polite authority
  • -Academic supports for school or homeschool
  • -Considerations for IEPs and 504 Plans
  • -Tools for communicating with teachers and schools
  • -Reflection pages that grow with your family
  • -Reducing conflicts around academics, expectations, and more!
  •
Nothing in the workbook is a “must do”, but are offered as ways to get communication going if you feel stuck. Everything is personalizable to meet you where you are. The goal is to share our insights and in the trenches experience so you don’t feel alone or lost in the language surrounding children who are “uniquely wired”.
